2. Moderate non Proliferative Retinopathy: In this stage, the eye disease worsens and there is blockage in the blood vessels of the retina.


3. Severe Non Proliferative Retinopathy: Due to blockage, the retina becomes deprived of oxygen and send signals to the body to make new blood vessels.


4.Proliferative Retinopathy: New blood vessels formed and this process is called as Neo Vascularization and the condition is now becomes Proliferative Retinopathy. Proliferate includes growth of blood vessels not only along the surface of Retina but also in the Vitreous gel which fills inside the eye. These vessels leaks and bleed, then it may cause Obscured Vision, Blindspots and if proper measures of care are not taken then it will lead to Permanent Blindness.
